SYIVAN THEATRE REVITALIZATION

Place: Cherkasy, Ukraine

This is a competition design proposing schemes revitalizing an existing old theatre in forest region of Cherkasy. As the choosen scheme will be built, the competition requires technical solution involved in the proposals, not only conceptual. Our theatre promotes and cherishes the spirit of Cherkasy, a place of liveliness, enjoyment and creativeness. We design the theatre as a transformable instrument. It is capable of holding diverse kinds of activities. And even more importantly, villagers can decide and move its own form.
