Silverlining Service Trip

- VILLAGE SCHOOL VISITING

The trips was organised in both 2015, 2016 and 2017 and lasted for a week, with the aim to inspire the village students to think out of the box. The activities include interacting with students through class activities, home visiting... With architectural background, in 2015 I took the responsibility to make a 1:1 wooden craftwork for the school. After discussing the feasibility and budgets, we came up with the idea of a swing. Despite its simplicity, the building process drew student’s attention and it served as a live demonstration how things could be built and what difficulties we overcame. It also served as a team building activity.
